IICL guidelines mandate the following requirements for Marine Grade Plywood:

  • Minimum 28 MM Thickness
  • WBP Glue
  • Strength of 6780 Newton Psi
  • Wight of 59+ Kilos 
  • 19-2 Ply Veneers
  • Less than 14% Moisture
  • Must meet PS-1-09 Structural Plywood Standards

Testing and standards

Recognized Third Party

Our marine grade plywood is tested regularly by the maintenance and repair divisions of steamship lines, leasing companies, and others. 


Dix-Mcguire request testing be accomplished by CIMC, DEKRA, and Wood Advisory Service to ensure we meet IICL January 2019 new criteria. 


The results continue to show our adherence. More over our product EXCEEDS the threshold of 6870 Newton Psi by far.
